Reading I Love You Mostest was an emotional journey that touched my heart from beginning to end. So many of Bradlee’s childhood memories felt incredibly familiar. The chapters with Gary, Julie, and Ashley brought me right back to so many moments that reminded me of just how much love surrounded him.As I read, I found myself reflecting on all the times I never realized the pain Bradlee was carrying. It’s heartbreaking to look back with that perspective, and it serves as a powerful reminder that we never truly know what someone may be struggling with beneath the surface.Bradlee was an extraordinary young man who left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. His kindness, spirit, and the deep love shared within his truly amazing family shine through every page. I absolutely loved the book “ I Love You Mostest “. I know this book is a true story because I know the author personally. It was the hardest book for me too get through because we are related and the heartache that my cousin and his family went through was real. The book is a heart felt story of a son and his dad and the love and support that they had for each other that I have never seen in my life time. I promise you, you won’t regret reading about the true story of a loving dad who supported his son through it all. A book so worth reading.Posted on Amazon Francine S. MurphyVerified Be ready for an emotional hangover Wow—just wow. This book truly got me. From the very first page to the last, I was taken on journey with a deeply moving and heartfelt tribute from a father to his son. This book was filled with authenticity, tenderness, and an overwhelming amount of love. It doesn’t read like something distant or overly polished—instead, it feels like sitting across from someone as they openly share their memories, their grief, and their heart. What makes this story so powerful is how real and unfiltered it is. Gary tells the story of his son, Bradlee, in such a vivid way that you begin to feel like you know him personally - as if you were a true part of their lives, not complete strangers or acquaintances.Through personal stories, quirks, and humorous moments, there are times when you find yourself smiling or even laughing out loud. These lighter moments beautifully highlight Bradlee’s personality and the joy he brought to those around him.At the same time, the emotional depth of the book is incredibly raw and impactful. It truly takes you on an emotional rollercoaster—one minute you’re laughing, and the next you’re wiping away tears. And not just a few tears—this book has a way of reaching deep and staying with you. There is no avoiding the pain, heartbreak, and vulnerability that come with such profound love and loss, but Gary writes in a way that makes it feel meaningful, honest, and deeply human. This is easily a 5-star read. It’s one of those books that leaves you with an emotional hangover—in the best possible way—and stays with you long after you’ve finished it. If you’re looking for a book that will make you laugh, cry, reflect, and truly feel, this one is unforgettable.Posted on Amazon liviVerified An Emotional Read That Truly Matters This book was one of the most emotional and difficult reads I’ve ever experienced.. Not because it was poorly written, but because it hit incredibly close to home.I had the privilege of being Brad’s friend and reading these pages brought back so many memories, emotions, and moments that I don’t think I’ll ever fully put into words. That being said, I truly believe everyone should read this book.It is heartbreaking, raw, honest, and beautifully human. It captures not only the pain and unfairness of loss, but also the strength, love, resilience, and impact one person can leave behind. It shows a whole different perspective on someone’s life, and the way the author used these experiences to change his way of thinking and understanding. There were moments I had to pause because the emotions felt overwhelming, but those are often the stories that matter the most.If you choose to read this book, be prepared to feel deeply. It is not an easy read emotionally, especially for those who have experienced grief or loss, but it is absolutely worth it. Some stories stay with you long after you finish the last page, and this is one of them.Thank you to the author and family for sharing something so personal and painful with the world. I know it couldn’t have been easy, but it matters more than you know. 1437Posted on Amazon Ruth KrapovaVerified Beautiful, raw and inspiring read! Highly recommend to anyone! I’ve been an avid reader most my life but slowed down over the last few years. It would take me a while to finish a book as of recent. I could not put this book down and finished it in just a few days - staying up till 2 am finishing this! The author had a way of describing the situations and emotions so well, that you felt like you were right there with them. It was completely raw and honest. I was captivated the entire time and learned so much along the way. Kind of like a self help book in a way, but you’re also following a real life story, showcasing life’s worst thrown at a someone and their family and the amazing legacies that were still built amidst the suffering. Truly inspiring!Posted on Amazon Christopher B.Verified Thanks for the story and the lesson. This is an extraordinarily moving and meaningful book. While it tells the heartbreaking story of a young man facing a terminal illness and ultimately losing his life far too early at 25, it is not a story defined only by grief. What makes this book so powerful is the perspective at its center.Rather than allowing fear, anger, or despair to consume him, the author’s son approached life with an incredible inner compass rooted in mindfulness, gratitude, and presence. He understood the value of treasuring the good moments in each day, even in the face of immense suffering and uncertainty. That outlook did not erase the hardship, but it gave meaning, peace, and even joy to the life he lived. The book also beautifully captures the author’s own journey. Through witnessing his son’s courage and wisdom, he began incorporating mindfulness into his own daily life, discovering strength and grounding during an unimaginable tragedy. That honesty and emotional depth make this much more than a memoir about loss — it is a lesson in resilience, perspective, love, and what it truly means to live fully. This is a deeply human book that will stay with readers long after the final page. It is heartbreaking, inspiring, and ultimately uplifting in the most authentic way.Posted on Amazon P.
